A delightful couple of nights at a pub team that really knows how to look after their guests. The room was comfortable and well appointed, the bed was perfect for a good night sleep and the soft pillows much appreciated. The bar was well stocked and the staff were friendly. The choice of food was good and, when it arrived, it was delicious. The food was hot on arrival and, like the rest of our stay, proves the staff are prepared to go that extra mile.
A special mention for Fleur, our table attendant on both nights. Such a pleasant young lady who had time for a quick chat whilst giving efficient and charming service. Good luck on your travels, Fleur.

If I could give more stars,I would. This place is amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The room was brilliant, and perfect with the dog too as the private terrace was just what she needed. Beautiful setting and out of this world food. Well done!!
We booked a four night stay for some respite from a busy schedule and we’re delighted with our choice.
The room, with a little balcony, overlooking the beautiful gardens, was delightful. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything was of the highest quality.
The food was plentiful and beautifully cooked. If I had any criticism I would have liked some less calorific desserts, perhaps a fruit salad?
Our greatest accolades were for the wonderful staff at the Old Mill. Welcoming and friendly, they could not have done enough for us. Thank you.

The Old Mill is in a fantastic setting, and was just perfect for a romantic get away! The food was excellent, the service attentive, and the prices were reasonable.
However, my wife and I were very disappointed that we had not picked up on the fact that all the rooms, and the whole restaurant, is dog friendly.
I am not anti dog, but I do not like my room to smell of dog.
My advice to the management would be to be a lot more fastidious, if you are going to allow dogs in the bedrooms.
It detracted from what would have been a perfect stay.

Beautiful garden with streams and jungle like plants. We booked for the evening but wished
it was light enough to look around properly. The pubs decor is lovely and quite unexpected in an Old Mill. Food was good, more expensive than other places we visited in the area.
Lovely dinner, bed and breakfast getaway. Gorgeous cosy pub, delicious food, beautiful comfy rooms and fantastic friendly service. Highly recommend! PS - Bring wellies if it's raining :)
We returned from a wonderful relaxing four night stay at The Old Mill on Friday. Everything was perfect from the staff being so friendly and helpful, the beautiful gardens with lovely views from our room an Elegant King which was immaculate and very comfortable. The breakfast’s and evening meals we had were good. We will definitely return next year!!
I booked this place for my parents to have a long weekend celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. The Manager, Richard, could not have been more accommodating. The room they had was beautiful, with a balcony overlooking the lovely grounds, and they had the best time. Thanks to Richard and team for giving my parents a lovely anniversary weekend. Highly recommended.
We absolutely loved The Old Mill. The building and grounds are delightful and the staff were excellent. The bed was incredibly comfortableand the breakfasts were amongst the best we have ever had staying anywhere.
Our only criticism is the constant music being played all day and evening. Some quiet background music, instrumental etc. would be pleasant but the choice of music was awful. Maybe it's just me being an old fogey!
