Wir waren am Donnerstag den 24.9.2020 dort essen. Um es kurz zu machen es hat einfach alles gestimmt! Wir saßen direkt am Fenster, die Jacken wurden uns abgenommen, die Chefin hat die Bestellung aufgenommen und uns Hinweise gegeben :-) Ich würde sagen es war das beste Stück Fleisch das wir bis jetzt gegessen haben. Butterzart. Wird wohl auf Lavasteinen gemacht. Rundum alles perfekt

Unser Besuch liegt nun schon einige Monate zurück. Als meine Frau - sie wusste vorher nicht, wo wir essen gehen - die Karte aufschlug und die Preise sah, war sie doch erstmal etwas geschockt. Normalerweise essen wir nicht so hochpreisig. Aber der Abend war es wert! Die Bedienung war top und von dem Essen schwärmen wir immer noch, sobald das Thema "Fleisch" aufkommt. Ich war selten so zufrieden mit einem Restaurant, von daher sind die Preise auch durchaus angemessen.

Ein exzellentes Restaurant mit einem sehr sehr großen Angebot an Fleisch und Gin. Ich kann nur jedem dieses Restaurant empfehlen, der Lust auf wirklich gutes Ambiente hat. Das gesamte Paket stimmt, das Personal ist zuvorkommend und freundlich und das Essen ist auf den Punkt gebracht nahezu perfekt.

Leckeres Fleisch, große Auswahl. Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, war noch ein Platz für uns beide frei. Auch für mich (esse nicht so gerne Steak) standen leckere Gerichte auf der Karte. Die Beilagen und Soßen kann man selbst zum Fleisch kombinieren, wovon eine Portion sicherlich auch für zwei gereicht hätte. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend😊😊 Würden wir etwas näher wohnen, würden wir sicherlich viele Male wieder kommen!!❤

Absolute Spitze! Das Fleisch kam so wie erwartet an. Unbeschreiblich zart und kaum zu toppen. Wenn man von Preis-Leistung redet, kann man sagen, dass es allerdings etwas zu teuer ist. Für mich war das gerade richtig. Vielen Dank für das köstliche Essen.

Wir waren zum erstenmal im Estancia zum Steak essen. Nettes, lebhaftes Lokal. Freundlicher Service. Das Beste sind definitiv die Steaks, das Rib Eye war erstklassig. Ganz ordentliche Weinkarte. Wir taten einen schönen Abend.

Hier stimmt alles! Die Steak sind hervorragend, der Service vorbildlich. Eines der besten Steakhäuser, die ich je besucht habe.

Lovely if you like meat. Go! The Menu is devided in 1. the cut of meat, then 2. vegetables, 3. etc. (can't remember what that was, Sorry) So you decide what you want with what. Heaven. Great vino. Lovely Service. Nice design. People generally interesting people. Lovely not only If You Like Meat! Have fun and tell me how you liked it.

Absolutely amazing steaks and side dishes. Friendly waitress whom spoke excellent English. Absolutely recommendable, we'll come back!

A friend who travels to Hamburg often and around the world recommended this spot as the best steakhouse in the city. I would have to say it is the best I have been to in general. The steaks are from different countries, divided by cut and size. My 200g fillet was perfectly medium rare. Sides are sold separately. We had a wonderful starter of peppers, sausage and another of giant prawns. Both made a lovely presentation. I would highly recommend this spot based on the high quality and exceptional service. It is better to have a reservations because this is a popular spot! Gluten free dining notes: Their menu had many options, and the staff spoke English very well, so I was able to navigate easily. Skip the steak sauces, and there should not be an issue!

Don't really like writing reviews. I just want to give it 5 stars so in the future I can remember it was good and worth re-visiting.

I found this place not by accident or word of mouth but through a Daily Deals website. I went with some co-workers and I had the best experience in any restaurant I have ever been to in Hamburg, period. To start the service was outstanding! The owner was actually out there helping seat, serve, and take orders. He also recommended and described dishes in great detail. The atmosphere is also nice, its modern decor and prefect size made everything even better. The food was absolutely delicious. The steak literally melted in your mouth. You could cut the steak with your fork it was that tender! I had a 300g Rib Eye, Green Beans, and a Baked Potato. The green beans looked like they had been cooked on a grill and bathed in herb butter. The wine that was recommended was just the cherry on top. Prices are reasonable for a steakhouse and you could get a good steak for under 20€. I would defiantly recommend this place and will also be returning several times! It's a hidden gem in Hamburg since it's not on any main walkway or near any train stops but still very easy to find. Everyone should check it out.

Showed up right when they opened for dinner service with 2 co workers. Service was excellent and were accommodated without a reservation. Seating is semi limited so we will make a reservation from now on just in case. Steaks: I had the tenderloin and my two coworkers had the ribeye. All of us agreed they were some of the top steaks we'd ever had and immediately made plans for our next meal here. Sides: potatoes with onions and bacon..cooked perfect also had the garlic bread, fresh and delicious.

Went here with some colleagues for dinner last night. We had tried the [m]eatery the week before (which was quite amazing), but Estancia Steaks is even better! I had to convince my friend to come here and try something new instead of his to-go place called the Slaughterhouse. He was not disappointed. The inside part of the venue is quite small and modern. Almost sterile. But if you eat outside in the Afrikahaus courtyard, it's magical. (I believe the courtyard is only available in the summer). Staff is extremely friendly and the food speaks for itself. You order your meat as well as your separate sides and a steak topping of your choice (herbed butter, au jus, cafe Paris spread, etc). I got the 350g boneless grass-fed ribeye from Scotland, medium-rare, potatoes with bacon, sauteed mushrooms and au jus. Everything was out of this world. The meat almost melted in my mouth. My French colleague ordered it near raw (French style) and it was amazing as well. The quality of the meat here is second to none. I highly recommend this place for any steak lover. It does not disappoint.

Very good steaks, not cheap, but worth it. For 2 with 2 glasses of wine - 100 euro easily. As sides spinach was delicious, potatoes average and mushrooms not well cocked. But meat is something fantastic... All steaks I tried there were so delicious, that you want to order a second portion!

We came here last night for a company dinner and we had a really great meal. A starter of carpaccio then a really really good steak cooked to perfection. A final course of chunks of Parmesan. Good wine too but most of all was great service and attention from our waiter. I have been in hamburg for nearly two months and it was the best place I have been to so far. I look forward to coming back.

Very good Steakhouse. The quality of the meat was excellent also the way of preparation. With all items on the menu you can choose between South American and Australian beef. The sides were very good, too, and the service was excellent. For this kind of quality their prices are inexpensive. The place has a modern atmosphere but could have, for my taste, a denser, more elegant atmosphere for this kind of place. This was the only downside.

Great steaks, even better service! An excellent selection of gin is just a bonus:)

If you want to try an excellent steak you have to try this restaurant, I was with the family for a weekend in Hamburg and this was one of the best we tried.

Good meat quality. Tables a little bit closed so depending where you are you can listen the next table conversation. We wait more than we should.

Went here with a large group of folks after a 14 hour journey from the US, this is pretty biased because at that point you could have probably put a ham sandwich in front of me and it would have tasted the same. I had a bit of difficulty ordering my steak in grams because the only gram I know it usually in relation to illegal substances, and the comparison to raw meat doesn't do it too wellso for us non-metric folks, don't order the 100g like I gotit's super tiny. I went with the house salad, which was not covered in jogurt sauce (thank you, thank you, thank you!) and contained a bit more than just the German staple of iceberg lettuce and canned corn. I mostly was interested in their Malbec, which was supurb and next go at this place I think I'll actually know how and what to order: bottle of Malbec, 200g steak, Bratkartoffeln and Knobbibrot!

Das Estancia gehört zur leider immer seltener werdenden Gattung Restaurants, in denen das Erlebnis für den Gast noch im Mittelpunkt steht. Schön zu sehen, wie das gesamte Team seinen Job mit absoluter Hingabe erledigt. Geniesser kommen hier voll auf ihre Kosten. Während in den meisten Läden die Sonderwünsche unserer 10-köpfigen Truppe die tatsächlich gelebte Kundenorientierung schonungslos offenbart haben, so hat man im Estancia noch das Gefühl, dass das Team den Anspruch hat, jedem (!) einzelnen Gast ein unvergessliches Erlebnis zu bieten. Auch wenn dafür 15 min. bis zur kompletten Aufnahme der Bestellung vergehen. Die Steakqualität steht dem in nichts nach, das Filet lässt einen direkt nach Lateinamerika reisen. In Summe ganz grosser Sport. Perfekter Ort zum schlemmen und die Seele baumeln lassen.

Five stars restaurant. Good steaks, nice atmosphere and kind service. I will defiantly come back again!!

Update 19.03.2010: after not having been here for a longer time I thought it was time to give them another try. I've in the meanwhile decided that Butcher's is my favorite place in Hamburg. Their steaks are simply the best as are their dining rooms. I like the steaks in Meatery as well but don't like the interior of the place. The green leather is so not my thing. Unfortunately, Estancia is now the opposite. I like their interior for some reason more when the place is full which it now usually is at lunch or dinner. Stylish and well executed when lively, kind of empty and boring when not. Unfortunately, the steak was again poor. I had the 300g Uruguay steak which was on the specials menu at the front of the menu. I ordered it medium and with a side of black beans. The beans were fine but the steak was definitely not medium and more like medium well. Further the meat was bland. It just didn't "pop" in terms of flavor when eating it. Somehow Butcher's just manages to get this so much better plus they bring your steak on a super hot plate, keeping the meat warm longer. Service was also OK but not as nice as in Butcher's. Sure, that steakhouse is much more expensive but not by far. We had lunch this time at Estancia and with two bottles water, two sides, two steaks and two coffees were also at EUR80 for meal and tip. I usually pay around EUR90 at lunch when at Butchers. Meatery is in the same price region as Estancia. Yet, their steaks too are better. Anyway, I'm taking this place down to two stars. Sure, the atmosphere may be better but their steaks are what you come for. This time I found them worse than the last time and when comparing to their competition in Hamburg, they are much further down the ranking. I had read many positive things about this place. I do admit the steak is quite good. Is it the best in Hamburg? I wouldn't say it's much better than Block House but this is already a good steak to measure up to. So, steak-wise the place is good. Otherwise, I find the interior somewhat lacking. Even worse is that the place is pretty much dead at night. We were there with one other table taken. It simply wasn't really very "exciting" at all. Service also seemed somewhat bored even though they did make an attempt to be helpful. Unfortunately, they did manage to screw up my bill, overbooking my credit card by 30 Euro. They resolved this issue (with the solution I proposed) yet afterwards didn't do much in terms of apologizing for the mistake. When we left there wasn't even a good-bye although I, not typical for me, was totally relaxed about the mix-up and didn't make a big deal of it. I think the service really needs to step it up a bit and they need to do a bit more in terms of filling the house to get some atmosphere going. I admit I've never been here for lunch but it's not my first choice when I think "steaks for dinner". I'll probably try it out in a couple months and see if it improves but I hope they don't disappear as quickly as the restaurant which used to be in the same location a while back. Maybe the location is jinxed! I do wish them luck though as I am the first to welcome multiple opportunities when it comes to steaks.

The rib eye steaks are excellent, a little pricey. Also had the shrimp, was great. The only thing lacking here is a better dessert menu. The atmosphere is very quiet. Have been there only one time, on a Friday night, was not busy at all. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet place to dine out.
