Ein fantastisches Bier und im Großen und Ganzen ein gutes Lokal. Es herrscht eine angenehme Atmosphäre und ein angenehmes Ambiente. Das Essen ist lecker und sehr herzhaft zubereitet. Das personal ist stets freundlich und schnell. Preis Leistung bei Getränken gut , bei Speisen ganz ok. Die Toiletten sind sehr modern und meist sauber, was auf jeden Fall ein Vorteil gegenüber anderen Lokalen ist.

Beste Brauerei Darmstadts. War auf der, wie ich sie liebevoll nenne: "gegenüber vom Grohe Schule". Kenne Grohe also bestens. Viele schöne Erinnerungen.

Sehr schöner Innenhof zum verweilen, leckeres Bier und tolle Speisen

Sehr schöner Biergarten mitten in der Stadt. Dazu noch die Schankstube und die Blockhütte. Unter der Woche täglich Werksverkauf, wo man das Grohe-Bier direkt ab Lagerkeller kaufen kann. Frischer kommt man nicht an sein Bier. Zudem gibt es seit 2 Jahren auch eine kleine Craftbeer-Range, die ich sehr mag. Meine Lieblingsbrauerei in Darmstadt :)

Nettes Lokal mit klassisch deutschen Gerichten. Das Bier schmeckt gut und die Preise für normale Getränke und die Gerichte sind okay. Die Plätze draußen sind schön gemacht, jedoch sind die Stühle etwas unbequem. Unsere Reservierung wurde zwar für 16:00 Uhr anstatt 18:00 Uhr eingetragen, jedoch hat man Verständnisvoll reagiert und uns schnell einen Tisch organisiert. Die Bedienung erfolgt schnell und es wird klassisch wie in einem Lokal auch immer freundlich gefragt ob man das Bier nochmal auffüllen soll, sprich eine sehr pro aktive Bedienung.

Alles Optimal! Speisekarte nicht für jederman! Aber ich liebe alles dort!

Lecker Haxe, Riesenschnitzel mit Kockkäse und Schäufele an Silvester 2020 abgeholt und gegessen. Kompliment an das Team vom Grohe....Dankeschön.

Bodenständiges Brauhaus mit passendem Ambiente. Vielfältige Auswahl an Verschiedenen Biersorten und Speisen. Überwiegend Stammkunden. Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Brauhauskultur die begeistert.

Micro-brewery, has been around a long time. Neighborhood favorite, not many (if any) tourists. A 3 minute walk from Ludwigsplatz; as you approach the intersection of Karlstrasse and Nieder-Ramstadter Str., you can see the large painted sign on the building. The garden is a little bit hidden, but easily found. The beer is excellent, and while they don't have English menus, the menu can be decoded easily and the waitstaff speaks a little bit of English too. The food is very good. Things do not move fast - this is a place the locals will hang out at for hours and hours. Orders get confused, misplaced. No big deal. If you come here with a group of 4 people, then think about ordering your beer a small wooden keg... The prices are also very fair.

Service: Mostly friendly, but sometimes a little bit confused. Also paying with card takes ages ... somehow. Food: Totally heavy stuff. You get the full load of potatoes, bacon and meat. For a vegetarian, this is not a good place. Price-Food-Ratio is okay, but only if you are totally in favour of heavy meat ;) Location: Looks quite okay. Recommende for: Taste real hessian food and like meat.

Traditional German food and so good .. family took us here while on our trip and we loved it , the staff was even able to communicate a teeny tiny bit in English which was cool because it made us even more comfortable with our family that was fluent in German and we are not. Food was great service was even better,

Another must "go to" brewery. Good food and beer and also love the whole feel. Ratskellar and this place ROCK.

If you want a traditional, authentic experience having a bier like the locals, then this is the place for you. I have family in the area and we come here EVERY trip. It has never disappointed. Sit in the oldest area, the newer area or in the garden - all is good. And, don't miss eating here either. The schweinshaxen is incredible, really any meal is excellent. Like said earlier, all is good!!! And fair warning, this is where the locals come and take their time talking, eating and enjoying life with a good bier in hand. Not an experience to rush....

Really nice atmosphere, good, hearty food, and some great beer. You can sit outside in the courtyard in the summer.
