Leider keine aktuellen Infos. Man steht vor verschlossener Türe. Man könnte ja Essen zum Mitnehmen anbieten, aber leider wird alles nur auf die Regierung abgewälzt. Schade

Nicht zu empfehlen. Das Bier kann man trinken, das Essen damit runterspülen auch, selbiges aber weniger genießen und den Rest gibt einem dann die unfreundliche Bedienung. Ja, der Besuch fand vor der Coronabedingten Schließung statt.

Das Essen hat nicht geschmeckt. Das Bier vom Fass ist perfekt. Obwohl kaum Gäste da waren war es zu laut um sich normal zu unterhalten, es hallte deutlich zu laut.

...super leckeres Essen in urigem Ambiente. Die Portionen sind absolut ausreichend um ganz sicher satt zu werden und die Qualität leidet nicht. Im Gegenteil! Gute Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. War nicht zum letzten Mal dort.

Sehr schöne Atmosphäre und super nette Bedienung. Das Essen ist sehr gut und das Bier sucht Seinesgleichen! Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen!

Sehr gutes Essen. Top im Preis/ Leistung. Schneller u freundlicher Service. Lokation ist sauber u liebevoll eingerichtet. Mit den alten Bildern an der Wand, spürt man den alten Charm des Hauses.

Sehr gute traditionelle Küche und angenehmes Ambiente. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft und wir sind noch von gestern Abend satt. Das Bier ist hier ein Genuß!

Essen und Getränke waren lecker. Wir fühlten uns allerdings ins Nebenzimmer abgeschoben. Dort war es unerträglich heiß.

Very cosy place with a great selection of good beers and excellent ambiance very well placed close to the main railway station, making it a very pleasant place to kill an hour or two, or maybe even a longer wait, without feeling the urge to leave any time soon.

Ich hatte die hausgemachten semmelknödel und ich muss sagen ich habe noch nie bessere gegessen auch in der perfekten Größe � und die Soße mit den Pilzen war der Hammer � zu einem sehr angenehmen Preis den ich gerne wieder bezahle.

Really nice place. Good food and a large selection of beers from their own brewery. Including traditional German styles and newer craft beers. Staff really efficient and friendly. Credit cards accepted. Only 5 minutes (less if the road crossing is green) from the main station.

Waren am Freitag mit meheren Leuten dort, zum 2.ten Mal. Ich zum ersten Mal fand es allerdings nicht so berauschend. Beim Essen finde ich stimmt Preis und Leistung nicht bzw. ist meine Vorstellung eine andere. Wenn ich einen Wurstsalat bestelle, mit Gurke und Radischen, gehe ich davon aus dass es im Salat drin ist und nicht daneben liegt uns von mir kleingeschnitten werden muss. Radischen hatte auch noch die Wurzel und Grün dran. Schnitzel für über 12,-- sind für meine Begriffe klein. .

2 Sterne=Mittelmäßig. Mehr war es insgesamt wirklich nicht. Das Bier und die Bierauswahl alleine vielleicht gut. Also 3 Sterne. Aber das Essen. Nach 3 Minuten (das sagt schon alles) stand das Schnitzel mit Rahm-Pilzen, Butterbohnen und Spätzle auf dem Tisch. Ich bin gut satt geworden. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Schnellabfertigung. Schade.

Das Personal ist lieb nett zuvorkommend, die CurryWurst war leider nicht Hot, kaum Sauce, Pommes nicht durch , da ich Kino-Zeit-Druck hatte, habe ich das Hinweisen vermieden , " Der Hunger treibt es rein" Logistisch bekommt der Gast negatives mit und an der Tür hängen alle Kreditkartenschilder, leider steht da nicht , erst ab einem Betrag von 20€, würde empfehlen das auszuweisen, ich bin ein Kartenfreund , und suche mir Objekte extra aus das ich so zahlen kann , EC war net dabei , so dass ich nur KK hatte. Wer ein leckeres Bier und eine deftige Küche mag, ist hier genau richtig. Das alles zu zivilen Preisen und flotter Bedienung. Das ist eine klare Empfehlung wert! Nicht unser letzter Besuch.

Schnelle freundliche Bedienung. Grösse und Qualität der Speisen absolut Super. Kann es wärmstens empfehlen. Mein nächster Besuch ist schon geplant.

Leckeres Essen und Trinken mit sehr freundlichem Personal.

Essen ist spitze, immer voll und trotzdem sehr guter Service. Reservierung ist quasi Pflicht. Allerdings sollte man vorher klären, wie man bezahlen möchte auf Rechnung, Einzel oder einer für alle. Hinterher läßt sich nichts mehr ändern.

Die Pilze mit Knoblauch waren der Hammer � und unsere Bedienung war sehr freundlich und schnell. Werden bestimmt bald wieder hin gehen��

I have been living in Darmstadt for 6 years now and have no idea why this isn't the best German place on the list. Have eaten here many times and have never had a bad meal. The decor is rustic but clean, and whoever is cooking in the kitchen knows what they are doing! Go here. Seriously.

This was a nice local place and the beer was outstanding and fresh. It just took so long for anyone to come to our table. I was so happy once I got the beer and then it took an incredibly long time for someone to take our order. Others that came in after us were being served before we even had a chance to order. I think it is because we were foreigners and English was an issue.Maybe we just looked weird and out of place. I guess I'll never know. Ultimately we were able to put our order in and the food arrived. The presentation was very nice and it also tasted pretty good. Very heavy on the belly, but hey, what do you expect for deep fried pork and potatoes, with bacon on top?

We did a brewery tour here and it was very interesting and informative ! We also are at the brewery. The portions were... HUGE I felt like dying by the end of the meal but the beer was so delicious I couldn't stop :( veggie options aren't so good though I must say, but at least they cater for it!

Stopped here twice during my visit to Darmstadt. Both times I had the venison stew - which was very tasty and not gamey at all. Also had the beer flight so I could try most of their beers. Loved them all except for the wit bier, but I typically don't care for them. Both the staff and locals were extremely friendly to me during my visits. It was a great experience here.

Great selection of German brews. Nice atmosphere. Went here a few times. Last times was a little disappointing in terms of service and food quality.

Great spot. Visited from Boston and was very happy with the atmosphere and food. Of course the beer was great too!

Food and drinks were great and at a reasonable price. Service on the other hand was a bit slow and the lady wouldnt even wait for the complete order when she was alredy gone .

I was really surprised to see that this restaurant had so many poor reviews. My wife and I ate here during our short visit to Darmstadt mostly because it is within a very short walking distance of the train station and our hotel, Intercityhotel Darmstadt. We found the German food very good and we both ate all of our meals and enjoyed the beer they had on tap. The waitresses put up with and understood our English orders correctly and the crowd seemed to be middle class families and friends stopping for a drink. The one star deduction is only due to the waitress service as it was slow at times with few visits to check in on us. We were served just not as often as we would have liked. Overall a good experience!

We had to stay directly across from the train station at a hotel and this wonderful, bustling brewery with traditional, local food, sourced from the area, was a real treat. We had schnitzel (amazing with potatoes, onions, and bacon) delicious salads, spicy goulash, tons of great beer and wine, an apple cake, a steak, the spaetzel... and everything was fantastic. I highly recommend this casual, delicious brewery/restaurant.
