Super süßer und gemütlicher Laden mit unglaublich leckerem Essen. Leider nicht gerade bei mir um die Ecke, sonst wäre ich deutlich öfter da! Auf jeden Fall die Reise wert! �
Bin fast jede Woche da und nehme mir immer was mit.
Die herzhaften Sachen wie Eiersalatpan und Tuna-Mais-Pan
sind mein Muss. Muss leider immer früher kommen da meine
Lieblingsteile immer öfter schon aus sind ... Netter Service und
wenn man weiß wieviel Handarbeit hinten in der Backstube
geleistet wird, um die Backteilchen herzustellen, dann sind die
Preise mehr als OK. Ist eben kein Supermarkt-Großbäcker.

On a Saturday afternoon, my husband and I went here to get a snack. I've had this bookmarked for a while, so when the opportunity to try a new place came, we opted to check this place.
This cafe and bakery is managed by real Japanese people. Having lived in Japan for 5 years, this place brought back memories, as for some reason, I have a fondness for Japanese baked goods, as they tend to incorporate their own Asian interpretation to European basic baking methods. I understand that it is difficult to explain, and would only be well understood by someone who appreciates Japanese baking, so just go there and try it to experience it.
I also like their signature matcha cheese cake. It is just right, not too much green tea, not too cheesy.
Oh, and their teriyaki chicken sandwich is the bomb!
I didn't like the fact that they serve coffee in gigantic bowls. It would have been nice if they served it in regular mugs. I know that they're trying to do the Asian theme, but somehow coffee in a bowl just doesn't work for me. Or maybe I am a coffee purist.
Apparently they transform themselves into an izakaya every now and then. They partner with other pop-up restaurants (like last night) and serve izakaya food, so if you want to catch that, I suggest watching their Facebook page for updates on when it would happen next.
Overall I like this place. I also like the fact that it's not in the former east. It's nice to find awesome things in other areas of the city as well, not just in East Berlin.
I'm a big matcha fan, so I was glad to see they have an array of matcha options like the cheesecake, brownie or tiramisu. I had the iced matcha latte, which was refreshing and perfect on a hot day. The people working here were really nice. Looks like a place you could work at with a laptop as well.
I loved this place! It is a cute little japanese cafe. You must have their matcha cheesecake if you are a matcha lover like me. I tried their teriyaki sandwich which I didn't care for. But the coffee and pastries were amazing! Fresh and delicious :)
Kame is a cute Japanese bakery - café offering different sorts of coffee and tea along with desserts and a selection of savoury lunch items. The employees are very polite and the decoration is lovely. We had cappuccino and yuzu cheesecake and we'll be back soon!
Really great little spot to grab a delicious baked treat and tasty drinks. I would recommend any of their sweet treats like the matcha cheesecake or the vanilla or chocolate cream. The Onigirazu's are also great. There are a variety of selections and all at a great price. Extremely filling as well. The decor is light and inviting; I am envious of their cute serving int dishes. Happy to give them five stars and my first review in Berlin. They are our new Saturday morning cafe! Can't wait to go back!

Mocha Tiramisu und Melon Brot sind sehr lecker! Ich mag Mocha nicht, aber Mocha Produkte hier schmecken mir sehr! Der Chef und die Chefin sind nett und freundlich!

Das Kame ist und bleibt die erste Adresse in Berlin, wenn man japanisch essen möchte, es aber kein typisches Sushi sein soll. Alles wird frisch zubereitet und schmeckt göttlich! Mein Dessert-Tipp: das Matcha Tiramisu. Es schmeckt einfach zu lecker, um es zu verschmähen ;)
