Convenient location for a quick bite in the heart of Berlin. I appreciate the vegetarian offerings and the variety of fresh sides.
We came a little later in the night and some of the items in the menu were gone so I had the haloumi gyro which was very well made and packed with flavor. I also ordered a lentil soup but it was never delivered to the table.
My friend ordered a haloumi platter which came with cous-cous, falafel, hummus and other small sides which added flavor and variety to the dish, I think it is a much better option that the pita sandwich, so i would order that next time.
There are plenty of drink options on the fridge and in typical German fashion, the beers are the same price as the bottled waters and sodas, so the choice was pretty obvious.
Great falafel and make sure to get the spicy one. 4 euros for a giant falafel sandwich for lunch.
I ordered the Shawarma Im Brot and it was excellent! For ~€4, you won't find anything else this filling or tasty. Although, there were many customers eating different dishes that looked better than mine... guess I gotta come back to try 'em all!
Esra is a casual Middle Eastern restaurant serving falafel and schawarma, along with other classic dishes. There was a lunch rush line as we walked by, and the plates and wraps all looked intriguing, so we got an order of the kufte kebab (lamb meatballs) in a wrap. The wrap was absolutely delicious--the kufte was perfectly seasoned and had a nice, aromatic kick from the herbs and spices. This paired perfectly with the refreshing lettuce salad and the pickled vegetables in the wrap, along with the spicy sauce and the toasted pita bread. All of this for just 3.5 Euros!
Excellent falafel "box," with salad and spices and condiments. $3.50?! Couple of dumb reviews on yelp so wanted to talk this place up a bit.
My friend introduced me to this place. Place is tiny and can be packed with people, but they have dishes served in bread you could eat on the way back. Price is low, veggies look fresh, generous portions, and a simple meal can be so packed with flavors. It's amazing. I happen to go to Goethe Institut right around the corner so eating there is now a common routine for me. The staffs very friendly as well. If you're a returning business he will recognize you. If you order the same dish, he'll remember that too. Like Google Chrome. Service seems disorderly but with such a crowd I'm amazed how smoothly the place is run. They don't even give out receipts. Just remember who ordered which and serve even if you're seated outside. Last time I even got appetizers for free. It's just great. 200% worth the money.
Simply delivious! Wide variety and you can add anything you desire as halloumi! Will come back for sure.
Great food for great price, it is so good, and juicy for the shawarma, if I lived in Berlin I would go every week! It is so good, and not too hard on the wallet.
They also have many vegetarian options and their chai tea is great. Smells so nice as the smells exit the restaurant. Will come again when in Berlin.

Wir haben hier zu zweite eine Platte mit verschiedenen Gerichten für unschlagbare 13€ gegessen und wsren hellauf begeistert.
Das Essen war frisch zubereitet, sehr gut gewürzt und hat einfach super geschmeckt.
Der Service war freundlich und zuvorkommend, "Extrawünsche" wurden gerne entgegengenommen.
Eine klare Empfehlung, superleckeres Essen zu einem unschlagbaren Preis. Daumen hoch!
Keine schlechte Adresse
Wer spontan Lust auf die arabische Küche hat und sich zufällig in der Stadtmitte aufhält, wird hier sicher nichts falsch machen. Preislich fair, qualitativ hochwertig. Natürlich werden Berliner ihren Kiez bevorzugen und das ist wohl eher für Touristen geeignet, aber das muss nicht unbedingt negativ sein. Falafel waren gut meiner Meinung nach.
Lecker Schawarma, komme gerne in der Mittagspause vorbei.
Die Teller sind alle reichhaltig und mein Haloumi war lecker. Prima Auswahl und frische Zutaten.
