Alles in allem sehr freundschaftliche Atmosphäre.

Preis Leistung in Ordnung. Evtl würden wir wieder kommen falls wir in der Gegend wären.

Gute deutsche Küche zum erschwinglichen Preis, weiter so. Wir kommen gerne wieder. 👍

Food Quality, Presentation and Service were great, as well as ambiance. Lovely restaurant in the heart of Trier. Had the Ox-Cheeks as appetizer and Steak Tartare as main dish. The wonderfully fresh bread in combination with the wonderfully prepared Steak Tartare was a memorable dish for me and worth mentioning this restaurant. My wife and our friends were also all very satisfied, to the point that we shared to deserts. When in Trier, I can highly recommend this place for Dinner.

This place is legit. Extremely friendly service, great recommendations, warm inviting space, and excellent food. We were greeted immediately upon entering around 8pm on a Wednesday and though the shopping area around us was deserted, this place was absolutely bustling. Our party of 3 was offered a high top table at the bar as none of the regular tables were available. This suited us perfectly! We were offered English and German menus, which was nice as it's always great fun to attempt to figure out what's what. Our first waiter (perhaps the manager?) was full of personality and took great care to help us pronounce the names of some of the dishes. He also recommended our excellent appetizer! Another waitress took his place later in the meal, so I assume she was on break when we were seated. She also provided super friendly and polite service. I had the roasted goose, and it was simply divine. Beautifully rendered skin, not chewy, tons of flavor. This came with a heaping pile of vinegary red cabbage and kartoffelkloesse (soft potato dumpling, which I actually don't care for that much but these were okay). The fresh Pils on tap (Bitburger, of course) was clean and crisp, and the ambience was cozy and comfortable. Everyone was quite satisfied with their meals, though in classic German style the portions were enormous. The bill came out to about 100€ total for three diners, which felt about right to me. I was super happy with this place!

One of the best dinners I had in a while. We really really enjoyed place, food and wine. And yes, it takes some time to prepare it, and so we enjoyed the bread and the delicious "Kräuterquark". I will never be able to understand who misuse "their power" in rating a wonderful place like this with comments like "the wait was to long". This is not a fast food place. This is a place to enjoy - and take the time to enjoy. I will sure come back the next time I am in Trier.

I had this place recommended to me by a friend, and was not disappointed. The biggest issue I had all evening was finding a table - even on a Wednesday the place was packed so I'd suggest making a reservation ahead of time. I ordered the "poulardenbrust," which was essentially chicken breast in a mushroom/cream/wine sauce with a side of noodles. It was the first time I've ever enjoyed eating plain noodles, they were so delicious and buttery that I probably could've eaten an entire plate of just that. The chicken was equally good. The meal came with a small side salad, and was enough food that I almost couldn't finish. All in all, it was a lovely place to grab a meal in the heart of the city and I would definitely go back!

Where to start. Like all restaurants in Germany you can expect professional service and quality food at a reasonable price, but they really take it to another level here. There is a GREAT beer selection, the house appetizer dish of sausage, potato and liver is incredible, and the entrees are all satisfying and filling (they somehow turned beef stroganoff from household bore into culinary delight). Plus the waiters are efficient and friendly to customers, even when we don't deserve it (brought my summer associate here, he had one too many and began ranting about American freedom and the waiter, to my surprise, took it in stride and rolled with it). My apologies for our bad manners and my thanks for your excellent food and service!

Officially new favorite restaurant in Trier. Everything was perfect, from the atmosphere to the food to the service. Our server actually actively helped us try to learn German, while asking each time whether we wanted each menu in German, French, or English. I ordered the spaghetti with pesto and white mushrooms, which was just a little heavy on the garlic but still delicious! My friend also ordered the beef filet with mushroom and red wine sauce and a side of potatoes and mixed vegetables. I can without a doubt say those were the best potatoes I've ever had, and my friend said his steak was cooked great, which is surprisingly rare here! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful meal (with a very very long wait time). We came in around 7 and didn't have a reservation but they said as long as we were out by 930 we could sit. No problem. Who needs that long to eat?! Well, with how long we waited I don't think we got out until 9! And my sister and I only have soup and salad! But granted, my mom did have a nice beef dish which would take longer but by the time they brought everything out the "warm goat cheese" on my salad was no longer warm. My salad was also overly dressed by a lot but overall the meal was great. We got an appetizer (the potato fritters) that were too crispy for my taste but one of the three was done very well. And they had lactose free milk so they get an extra star from what would have been a three star. Our server was lovely and spoke English perfectly.

If you order German food here you will be very happy! I recommend the 'Trier lieblings teller', it's worth it just for the leber knödel alone! Service very good too.

Had the beef 'Stroganof' here. Really good! Good service as well. Pitty we sat by the dooropening so every time the door opened, we were cold. But definitely recommended for a good and hearty meal.

Delicious dinner, pork cutlet with potatoes and asparagus; veal strips with outstanding spätzle and mushroom sauce. Highly recommended.
