Asian Fusion Kitchen has never really found a foothold around here, thankfully that's changed in the last months. This place was one of the first to actually open & it does not disappoint!

The new sushi place on the corner that I've heard about everywhere. Now I like my sushi delicious, as does everyone else I would hope and this place offers some really delicious sushi.
First of all the place is kinda hidden but it is in a great place in the city. Easy to get to using public transportation and it is a short walk from the subway station "Weißer Turm".
My first impression was that the interior is pretty bland. a low amount of decoration on the walls, all of which were flat and exposed ventilator shafts on the ceiling but I'll accept that as a sort of style. Definitely doesn't look like a typical asian restaurant. The metallic chopsticks were very fancy looking however and the dark wooden tables accented the plates and utensils quite well.
The food was very good. I had an order of Maki California and the CoCo special "Spider". I will start off saying both had a really nice fresh taste. The mixture featured on the spider dish was amazing. The ingredients all blended together very nicely and the texture was complimented on multiple layers of softness and crunchiness. The spider dish was 6 rolls of sushi containing fried soft shell fish with different vegetables and a sort of lightly added sauce which was simply great. All the flavours blended together and nothing was out of place on the CoCo special "Spider".
The Maki California which was simply 8 pieces of Maki rolls with surimi and avocado. I love my surimi so I found the Maki California to be delicious!
The reason behind my 4 star review is mainly 2 things I found missing from the locale and that was the fact because of the missing decor a lot of noise was bounced off the walls and it all felt a lot louder than it was and the waiters should allow somethings to slide. My experience was I wanted to keep the menu there in-case I was still hungry after my sushi meal but I was insisted to return the menu after saying I'd like to keep it there for that very purpose. I wasn't planning to eat the menu! Promise!
YUM! Delicious sushi, beautiful presentation, and a great experience. The cocolius soup is a MUST. We also really enjoyed the volcano roll and the chef's special roll. The environment is quaint and stylush, and the service was great.
