Schoops Hamburgers

Service was very good. Seating is limited and unfortunately we sat in back of the dirty dish container where one server threw the dishes as loudly as possible. The burger and cheese fries were very good but the toppings on the menu were not all the ones available and some are extra. The onion rings were the greasiest I've ever had; you could have squeezed a 1/4 cup of oil out of them. $28+ for 2 people seems expensive to me.

I took my sister out to lunch today and she decided she wanted to try schoops, we came in and sat down at the counter to order our meal, the staff was very friendly and attentive but unfortunately we got a call from my sister's doctor that her schedule had been changed so we had to leave very quickly. The staff was very accommodating and made our order to go so we didn't get a chance to experience the restaurant but the food was excellent. my sister ordered a burger and some onion rings with a vanilla shake. I ordered a bowl of creamy chicken soup and a Green River with a bunless Junior Burger. The burgers as always were phenomenal and the soup was actually really really good! couldn't have asked for a better lunch! thank you guys.

BEST BURGER I ever had. The bun was so soft with crispy edges The patty was griddle cooked and had the BEST FLAVOR ever (crispy edges are like bites of heaven) The milkshakes were thick and flavorful The fries are golden and tasty The service is awesome This place has been around for a long time and now I see why!!!!!!! 100000/10 burger 🖤🙏🏼😬😬😬

Went in for dinner for take out and it’s not a friendly place for all but hey we live up the street so why not got in there every one stare like we are aliens, walk up to cashier she just looks for a second or two I’m wondering if she gone ask me if we wanted to order she hesitated and did ordered paid another lady said I wasn’t charged for the bacon I had to pay an extra 2.83 paid for food fries were hard ordered cheese fries and got home no cheese they was trying to hurry us up out of there as quick as possible smh!! Called them back about the cheese they said we can come get it gas is 5 bucks a gallon and we stay in the neighborhood but in Illinois decided not!!!

Good food, fair prices, nice workers and a cool jukebox you can operate from your table. Schoop's bought out Baskin-Robbins next door years back and incorporated them into their store. With that, they have an ice cream set up still so you can get food and ic cream. Standard food items such as burgers, hot dogs, BLTs, soups and more. Milkshakes are very good here also. Lots of parking out back. Overall good place.
