Bewertungen Gasthaus Bräuwastl - Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Ich kann das Bräuwastl einfach nicht besser bewerten! Ich habe ein Jägerschnitzel bestellt, welches auf den ersten Blick gar nicht schlecht aussah, aber hier wurde der klassische Trick angewandt, dass die die angebrannte bzw. zu dunkle Seite nach unten auf den Teller gelegt wurde. Ich habe die Bedienung drauf angesprochen, dass das Schnitzel in meinen Augen angebrannt und zu trocken sei. Als Antwort bekam ich dann allerdings nur, was damit falsch sei und es ja in der Pfanne frisch gemacht wurde. Ich wurde ohne weitere Reaktion sitzengelassen. Ich bin sicher nicht in ein Restaurant gegangen, um Pommes mit einer viel zu dünnen fertig Jägersoße zu essen. Als die Teller abgeräumt wurden, hat sie dann gesagt, dass sie das Schnitzel nicht berechnet. Ich hatte zwischenzeitlich die Hoffnung ein anderes Stück Fleisch zu bekommen, aber dies passierte nicht. Als Krönung bekam ich nicht das ganze Gericht storniert, ich habe ja schließlich delikate Pommes mit der beschriebenen Soße gehabt und das für 5 Euro. Ich hätte sicher eine Lösung gefunden oder mir was anderes bestellt, aber wie hier mit einer Beschwerde umgegangen wurde, ist das Allerletzte! Ich lass auch nicht gelten, dass es stressig war, weil die Aushilfskraft während unseres Hauptgangs, nach Hause geschickt wurde. Geht 700m weiter und zahlt paar Euro mehr. Dann bekommt ihr sicher ein gutes Schnitzel und vorallem aber, ein guten Service! Scheint ja schon öfter mal vorgekommen zu sein.

Innerhalb 20 min kurzfristig eine Reservierung bekommen. Parkplätze vor Ort, sehr praktisch, ansonsten Seitenstraßen nutzbar. Außenbereich toll. Die Bedienung ist sooo nett. Alles war voll aber sie war sehr zuvorkommend und höflich, wirkte nicht gestresst bei Hochbetrieb. Wirklich der beste Service!!! Unser Essen war innerhalb 4 Minuten am Tisch, so schnell hab ich es noch nie erlebt und die Qualität war definitiv top. Allein wegen dem Essen und dem netten Personal muss man hier sein

Sind spontan auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant vorbei gekommen und super freundlich empfangen worden. Trotz Stress hat sich unsere Bedienung Zeit genommen für ein lustiges und informatives Gespräch. Dazu war das Bier frisch und kalt und das Essen sehr lecker. Preis-Leistung auch prima. Wir waren vier Personen und hatten vier verschiedene Gerichte. Alles war lecker und reichlich und kam sehr schnell, obwohl man in der offenen Küche sehen konnte, wie das Schnitzel frisch paniert wurde. Die Bedienung (ein sehr netter und lustiger Herr) war jederzeit freundlich und für ein paar Worte zu haben. Preis-Leistung top und definitiv gibt es von uns eine Weiterempfehlung 👌

Das jägerschnitzel mit Spätzle schmeckt sehr gut, aber das schnitzel selbst dürfte für meinen Geschmack etwas größer sein. Die Angestellten sind freundlich, jedoch teilweise werden Bestellungen durcheinander gebracht. Live Musik am Samstag Abend war etwas zu laut, so dass man sich nicht problemlos unterhalten konnte. Alles in allem kann man dort gut essen gehen für faire Preise

Hervorragend, schneller aufmerksamer Service. Die Portionen sind absolut klasse. Wirklich sehr gutschmeckend, auch Preislich gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Sind für 1 Woche hier und kommen gerne wieder.

Das Essen war gut und das freundliche Personal ging auch ohne Probleme auf Sonderwünsche ein. Als wir Samstagabends dort waren spielte eine Live-Band, was ich sehr schön fand, lediglich hätte es etwas leiser sein dürfen für meinen Geschmack, da man sich draußen kaum unterhalten konnte. Drinnen war das allerdings dann kein Problem mehr. Ebenso kam es zu einigen Verwechslungen/ Vergesslichkeiten bei den Bestellungen die jedoch umgehend behoben wurden. Das Essen kam auch sehr schnell auf den Tisch. Es gab kaum Wartezeit. Guten Essen für einen fairen Preis.

Essen war gut. Die Bedienung war freundlich, aufmerksam und routiniert. Punkt Abzug: 1. Salat war abends abgestanden, noch vom Mittag. 2. Hauptgang kam schon, als die Vorspeise noch gegessen wurde. Geht gar nicht, z.b. bei der Suppe

My husband and I dined, several times, at Gasthaus Bräuwastl nine years ago and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and the friendly staff. We returned a few weeks ago and brought friends with us who had never been to Germany. The food and service was just as good as it was nine years ago and became our groups favorite restaurant in Garmish. We dined there again the following night. Every dish was delicious!

Sehr schönes und gemütliches Gasthaus. Super lecker und sehr freundlich. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Schweinebraten trocken und hart,Rotkohl wurde kalt serviert Knödel Fertigprodukt kalt und geschmacklos.Von einer verzehr Temperatur von 60 bis 70 Grad weit entfernt.Von HACCP zu schweigen,leider nur Enttäuscht.Die Köchin hat das nicht Interessiert,die Bedienung war durch die zurückgäbe des Essens genervt � aber noch freundlich.

Bayrische Hausmannskost sehr gut. Dürfte alles ein bisschen heißer sein. Türen zur Küche sollten geschlossen bleiben dann riechen deine Klamotten auch nicht nach Essen. Thomas? Der Harmonica Spieler hat super aufgspuit. Danke ans Team! Kommen gerne wieder.

Kaum sitzt man und hat bestellt und fünf bis zehn Minuten später steht das Essen auf dem Tisch, auch wenn viel Betrieb ist :-)

Great find! Stopped for lunch and ate on patio. They have several large tables on the patio for large groups. Server was very friendly and prompt. They have German and English menus and server spoke very good English. Served half liters of beer on tap and by bottle. Kids menu available and are large portions. Kids had fish sticks as well as a pork dish with sauce and spaetzle. Both kids meals delicious. Adults all ordered various things and everything was wonderful! Don't recall the names of the food as still learning the language. Large menu with wide variety of options. Highly recommend!

Didn't have time to walk to town so I stopped at the first German place. Really courtous server and atmosphere. Had the art schintzel and soup, both on point. Place takes card so bonus points for that.

Highly recommend. Good food without having to go all the way into town. The breaded schnitzel was great.

Nice wait staff, great location and the food (went twice while we were there), was excellent. Definitely will visit again when I come back.

Beer was good. The waitress recommended the steak and fries. The steak was cooked to perfection. I returned the next night just to have a beer. It is close to eldenweiss so it's the perfect stop to and from town.

This place is alright for dinner and happy hour. However, as a retuning guest who has stayed here for weeks at a time in the past, this trip is disappointing. The stay included continental breakfast was okay. The coffee was excellent; the orange juice was some bottled product, not fresh, that still went down good. Fresh semmel with butter, jams/Nutella/honey, different cold cuts and Swiss cheese; no milk, so we brought our own that we had to keep on ice (see below). The kitchen staff was there from dawn 'til dusk, working some very long hours. Garmisch was swarming with flies, wasps and Yellowjackets, and the Brauwastl had a generous share of each. The Brauwastl is not a hotel. It is a gasthaus that has rooms for rent. The private apartment off to the side of the property is the best place to stay. I originally booked this room, but they bumped us to an upstairs room. The other rooms are above the kitchen and dining room. Maybe it's due to climate change, but the rooms are very hot. It was intolerably hot during our stay, so much so we purchased a fan. There is no A/C, no fan, nothing to cool the room off. It doesn't come with any toiletries, so remember to bring your own soap. And bring a washcloth for your face, as the old and scratchy towel set doesn't include any. There is no housekeeping; our room came with cobwebs and we kept the same sheets and towels for the week. There is no coffee maker, fridge or microwave. No ice machine: the kitchen did not want to give us ice, so we had to purchase it elsewhere and put it in a thermal bag in the shower to keep beverages cold. There's a nice little balcony facing Zugspitzestrasse shared with the room adjacent. Unfortunately, smoking is permitted and the unhealthy, gasping grandpa next door chain smoked. We opened the windows and door between cigarettes--it was stifling heat or hot with secondhand smoke. Years ago, I really used to like this place. The dining and drinking must be making their bank, as there were rooms available the entire time we were there. The two sisters who own and run it both looked very tired from the heat and work. They were more energetic and friendly in the past. Now they seemed kind of bored and disinterested. I empathize with them ... However, this will be our last stay in the summer months if we cannot get the ferienwohnun away from the smokers, and then it will only be during the cooler months.

First German place where ever!! Loved rge potato salad and jager shnitzel! Very good!

Food was delicious and service was great, but both my wife and I got food poisoning. I had schnitzel and spaetzle. She had kasespaetzle and salad. Kids had spaetzle and fries. We're waiting to see if the kids get sick also

Nice atmosphere. Authentic German. Locals patronizing. Avoid the schnitzels. They are not golden and crispy. Mine was oily and over cooked. Meat was not tender. I think this place is OK for drinks. Maybe for stews and such, but menu is limited. More stube than restaurant.

Love this place! Food is always great and filling. Spaten beer is always fresh! Love the covered outdoor seating area and the waitresses are super nice!

Our food was great (I had duck and dumplings), as was the service, but three of the five of us got sick after dinner!
