Tolle griechische Gerichte zum Abholen - alles Lecker !! Und schnell fertig und auch noch heiß !! Super

Sehr sehr lecker. Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen. Speisen kamen alle zeitgleich und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt.

Heute waren wir zu zweit als Laufkunden bei El Greco. Uns wurde ein Tisch in dem mittleren Bereich des Restaurants zugewiesen. Der Tisch war direkt am Raumeingang und der Gang war sehr schmal, sodass die Kellner jedes Mal beim Vorbeilaufen die Teller über meinem Kopf positionieren mussten, um in den engen Gang überhaupt reingekommen. Es war mir äußerst unangenehm und ich habe den Wirt um einen Tischwechsel gebeten. Es gab mehrere freie Tische. Darüber hinaus haben Gäste, die nach uns angekommen sind, Tische in den besseren Ecken des Restaurants zugewiesen bekommen. Auf meine Bitte hat der Wirt sehr aggressiv reagiert. Mir wurde gesagt, es gebe keinen anderen Tisch für uns, er entscheide, wer welchen Tisch bekomme und wenn mir etwas nicht passe, solle ich bezahlen und gehen. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt wurde unser Essen bereits serviert. Wir haben beschlossen, an dem Tisch zu bleiben. Während wir gegessen haben, hat die Bedienung beim vorbeilaufen gesagt, wir sollen schneller aufessen und nach Hause gehen, denn sonst “ist der böse Virus da”. Nachdem wir fertig mit dem Essen waren, wollten wir zahlen und haben eine Quittung angefordert. Der Wirt ist sofort ausgerastet, sagte, dass er uns die Quittung erst nach der Bezahlung bringt, dass er darüber nicht diskutieren will und hat bedroht die Polizei anzurufen. Nach einer langen Diskussion haben wir doch eine Kassenquittung bekommen, haben bezahlt und sind gegangen. Der Wirt hat sich absolut inakzeptabel verhalten. Noch nicht zuvor haben wir solche unhöfliche und aggressive Bedienung erlebt. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht. Ich rate alle, die Wert auf höfliche Bedienung legen, von El Greco ab.

Das Lokal war liebevoll eingerichtet. Auch ohne Reservierung wurde uns ein Tisch ermöglicht. Auf die Einhaltung der Coronaregelungen wurde besonders geachtet, auch bei der Tischvergabe, das ist sehr lobenswert. Die Bestellung wurde freundlich aufgenommen und und trotz vieler Gäste schnell serviert. Preislich total in Ordnung für ein griechisches Lokal. Absolute Weiterempfehlung :)

Das Essen war sehr gut, die Lieferung kam schnell an und die Preis-Leistung hat auch gestimmt.

Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Die Preise sind für meinen Geschmack zu hoch, das ist in Bayern überall so. Trotzdem möchte ich das Lokal weiterempfehlen.

Das Essen war gut! Leider war unsere Bedienung recht unaufmerksam und etwas unfreundlich. Im Außenbereich sitzt man schön. Die Zeiten, zu denen man einen Begrüßungs-Ouzo bekommt, sind wohl auch vorbei...

Greek food in Germany is so different than in the U.S., and after 10 years away, hitting a good Greek restaurant was near the top of our to-do list during our vacation. El Greco was right on target. The service was fast and helpful, and the food was excellent. I had the lamb cutlet and my husband had a mixed platter (I forget which one.). Everything was cooked perfectly (How do they do those potato medallions??) and the portions were huge. The prices here are very reasonable as well. I think Yelp has them a bit on the high side, honestly. Oh, and they have English menus. Anyway, if you've hit your tolerance for Bavarian food, El Greco is the place to go.

Whoever gave this place good reviews needs to get out more. The "Greek" salad was mostly lettuce with bland cheap low quality feta cheese and bland tasteless dressing. Super disappointing. The zucchini and eggplant was breaded and fried instead of being sautéed. Also tasted very bland. Overpriced and low quality food. I won't even get into the main dishes as I'll just get upset thinking about how much money I spent on the worst meal we had in Garmisch over a two week period eating out every night. Avoid.

Food and service is excellent. I attended this restaurant as it was across the street from a hotel I stayed at while in Bavaria. The food is very fresh. Only thing that could be improved is adding lamb gyros. The gyro meat was made of pork which was excellent, but there was no option to get lamb gyros. I prefer lamb gyro meat. All food was still excellent and very inexpensive.

My favorite place in Garmisch to eat. The food and service are always amazing! The atmosphere is friendly. I haven't had a dish here that wasn't spectacular!

Delicious food, the atmosphere was very comfortable and the staff was good with English! The baclava was out of this world!!

The Greek food server here was pretty good but the waiter was quite grumpy. We were staying across the street at the hotel and decided to have Greek food instead of german. You might think they would be happy to have a group of 7 people show up unannounced but instead we felt as though we were inconveniencing the waiter. Food and drinks were ordered and delivered but afterwards no follow up visit for coffee or dessert. And no eye contact to ask for the bill. The food was decent but the service was lacking. This is not the first time this trip we have noted grumpy germans in the service industry. Perhaps they should think a little harder about their attitude vs the size of the tip they receive.

After a motorcycle ride from Italy thru Switzerland and Austria, we arrived in Garmisch, Germany. After being caught in a rain shower, we headed for the comfort of Greek cuisine at El Greco. It did not disappoint. The wait staff was extremely friendly and the food as expected...delicious. The welcoming glass of ouzo was greatly appreciated as we shook the wet chill with which we entered. Will definitely return, even if there is no rain.

Large portions and fast service. We love the dinners for two. Traditional dishes you'd find in any Greek restaurant.
