Leckes Bier und tolle gerichte zum essen. Das Restaurant ist leider oftmals sehr voll, gerade am Wochenende. Ich würde dringend empfehlen einen Platz zu reservieren. Im Sommer kann man auch gut in den Biergarten sitzen.

Wie hatten das Glück, ohne Reservierung gerade so den letzten Tisch zu ergattern. Das Essen und Trinken war sehr lecker und die Bedienung super freundlich und sympathisch. Die Preise waren auch angemessen bzw. fast günstig für die Auswahl aus Speisen. Immer wieder gerne!

Ich muss schmunzeln. Den Biergarten kenne ich schon seit 44 Jahren, seit meiner Studentenzeit. Immer noch so, wie früher!!! Mittlerweile ist unser Sohn Julian mit der jungen Generation, Laura und Julius, befreundet. Wir hatten gestern mal wieder einen schönen Nachmittag im Biergarten. Caro und ihre Kollegin haben uns bestens bedient. Mein alter Biergarten 😋

Wir waren als Gruppe von 6 Personen hier. Die freundliche Kellnerin brachte uns sehr schnell das leckere Bier. Dann haben alle ihr Essen bestellt. Obwohl das Lokal gut besucht war dauerte es nicht lange bis unser Essen kam. Jeder hatte wirklich das Essen so wie er es bestellt hatte. Dies ist in der heutigen Zeit leider nicht selbstverständlich. Ich hatte Raumschnitzel mit hausgemachten Spätzle und einer leckeren Soße. 2 Schnitzel und ein riesen Berg Spätzle. Das alles für 12€ . Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist hier toll. Auch alle anderen waren von ihrem Essen begeistert. Wir hatten einen schönen Freitag Abend. Am Samstag sagten alle sofort das sie wieder in die Hausbrauerei Feierling wollten. Gesagt getan und wir hatten wieder einen genauso schönen Abend wie Tags zuvor. Beim nächsten Mal in Freiburg sind wir zu 100 Prozent wieder hier.

Institution in Freiburg, nicht nur im Sommer. Lebhaft und laut, sehr gemischtes Publikum. Bier lecker, aber nicht von gleichbleibender Qualität (mal stärker, mal schwächer, je nach Lagerdauer). Service schnell, nicht immer freundlich. Speisekarte für Vegetarier dürftig, alle anderen bekommen Wirtshauskost.

Netter Biergarten, leider kaum Auswahl beim Essen. Keine bzw. nur 1 warmes Essen. Wurstsalat kommt direkt nach der Bestellung (also alles schon fertig) Sehr schade. Bier super,. Mehr warme Speisen wie z.b Schnitzel / Pommes / Würste wäre wünschenswert

Toller Biergarten mitten im Zentrum von Freiburg. Plätze drinnen und draußen. Sehr freundlicher und schneller Service, Bier schmeckt super. Das Essen ist einfach und etwas überteuert. Viele Touristen, aber das ist ja wie immer Geschmackssache. Ein Besuch lohnt sich.

Für mich immernoch der Inbegriff von Freiburg. Ein kühles Bier im Biergarten oder ein lecker zubereitetes Rahmschnitzel mit Spätzle mit Blick auf den Braukessel. Hier ist für jeden etwas dabei 😊 Das Essen schmeckt immer sehr gut, das Bier aus der Hausbrauerei braucht sich ebenfalls nicht verstecken. Einziges Manko, für das ich leider einen Stern abziehen muss, da es nicht mehr zeitgemäß ist, die Zahlung wird nur Bar akzeptiert. Für einen Anlaufpunkt für Touristen ist das allerdings eher untypisch und wie ich finde auch etwas antiquiert.

The beer garden & brewery are fantastic. Almost the best beer that I ever tasted. The food is average - but that is not the main objective anyway... 🍺🍺🍺

Das beste Bier der Stadt � Das Bier ist super lecker, die Kellner super freundlich jedes mal

Die 2 Punkte gibt es ausschließlich fürs Bier! Das Bier sollte besser noch eine Woche länger im Gärtank verweilen bevor es ausgeschenkt wird. Es ist so süß und leider ziemlich dünn. Vielleicht wird ja auch zuviel Bier verkauft und deshalb muss noch nicht ganz durchgegorenes Bier über die Theke gehen. Das Essen war ok.

Das Bier � hier ist der Hammer, der Service sehr aufmerksam und das Essen ist sehr gut. Dazu gibt es typische Biergarten Atmosphäre. Einfach klasse!

I studied abroad in Freiburg for two months and I spent almost every day of that two months at this Biergarten. Amazing beer, I wish I could have some again

Sehr schönes Haus, sehr gemütlich... Leckeres Bier.... Wenn der Service besser auf Zack ist und das Essen dem Niveau des Hauses angepasst wird gibt es auch 5 Sterne.... Das heisst nicht das das Essen schlecht war, aber nicht besser als 3 Sterne....

Das Bier ist lecker, aber vom Essen war ich sehr enttäuscht. Schnitzel zäh, innen rot und als ich es zurückgehen ließ, wurde es nochmal nachgebraten und wieder gebracht. Alles sehr lieblos...

Bier ist Mega. Ambiente ist cool. Personal könnte nen bissel mehr auf zack sein. Der Elsässer Wurstsalat war enttäuschend und der 2 schlechteste nach dem aufem Mundenhof den ich in Freiburg gegessen hab.ungewürzte Bratkartoffeln,keine Zwiebeln am Elsässer Wurstsalat,mini mini Gürkchen und kleines Tomätchen als Beilage und etwas weißliches oben auf dem Salat wo mein Vater und ich uns beide verwundert haben was es ist und auf unseren Elsässer Wurstsalaten zu suchen hat. Daher nur 3 aber Starke 3 Punkte.

Very friendly waitstaff who were willing to speak broken German/English to a couple of out of towners. Great fresh beer. The Inselhopf is maybe the best Helles lager I've had in Germany and I have tried quite a few. We had the Brägele mit Münsterkäse überbacken which was delicious although the münster cheese was a little bit more pungent than I am used to getting back in the states. A little bit closer in flavor to Swiss cheese but very good. We also had the quarck with herbs which, if you've never had it, is close to a cross between ricotta and sour cream or Greek yogurt but with onion mixed in. It came with bread and onions and it was excellent as an appetizer. I also had the fried Nürnberger bratwurst which was on special and it was some of the best Nürnberger sausages that I've had on this trip to Germany. Highly recommend this place!

I came here with the family and we did not stay and eat. This day the smell in the restaurant was really bad! Sorry. Probably there are better days.

Inviting atmosphere with magical lighting and ambience. The beer is fresh and pure-unlike anything I've tried before. The service was friendly and helpful and were welcoming to locals and travelers alike. Do not miss this amazing beer experience!

First time in Freiburg and looking for a place to have authentic food and beer? Give this place a try! Beer options were excellent and food was delicious. The brewery is a cool atmosphere with the machinery in the middle and seating throughout. I would definitely recommend to others and even go back myself!

The food was great. Atmosphere darn good. With kids though, man did we get some sneering looks from our grouchy waiter. Definitely drug down the experience. Next time I'll we'll go elsewhere.

This came as a recommendation from my coworkers as a great place for beer and food. In my short time in Freiburg, I stopped by twice by myself for a large beer and some quick food. I can't judge the food all that much since I only ordered a weisswurst and pretzel but it seemed okay. Compared to some other places, the prices were quite reasonable. It gets crowded but you can often find a spot at the bar. If you want to sit in the beer garden, you can swing by the main restaurant to get pretzels. The beer is light, crisp and refreshing. It was slightly sweet and citrusy for a great hydrating drink. I'd definitely stop by again. Cash only.

Seven of us ate lunch here today. Some of us had beer and sausages while others ate other selections of German dishes. The food quality was excellent and of course the beer is very good. One of us ordered the goulash said it was the best he ever had.

Brought American friends to taste local food and beer. Everything was good, and the waiters were nice. Make sure to make a reservation, as they get very busy! The fleisch salad was good, it was not drowning is greasy sauce like I often experienced. Definitely a plus!

Superb brasserie in the hear of the town. Excellent home brewed beer with the actual brewery in the middle of the restaurant. Nice dishes from the region served with a smile. Nice professional staff.

We were here in December so we weren't able to experience the beer garden. The bar/restaurant area was packed though, even on a Monday night. The beer that they brew here is quite good, and the food was classic German comfort food. I got an order of sausages with sauerkraut and potatoes (I know, that's as stereotypical as you can get) and was given a huge plate of tasty food. If I ever return to Freiburg I'd happily come here again.

The beer, ambiance, service, and location are all top notch. I have family nearby in Switzerland that I visit every few years or so and make a point to visit this brauhaus (and Freiburg in general) every time, since my first trip over 25 years ago. Besides being fantastically quaint, Freiburg is a big regional shopping center & it is happy repeat patrons like my family who keep it busy, not just tourists.

One of our favorite Biergartens in Freiburg (I know, there aren't that many but...) and their Inselhopf Bier is just delicious, can have 2 without going overboard, which is nice since you still want to do some shopping. The Großer gemischter Salat und pretzel, plus a beer is the way to go!

We came in winter so we sat inside. The breaded schnitzel that comes with potatoes was great, however I can't recommend the unbreaded schnitzel that comes with a cream sauce and spaetzle (though the sauce and noodles were great)

This micro brewery has exactly one beer. A Weiss. It was ok, if you like Weiss. The food is all traditional tourist German. Actually, it looked great. But I left you n search of some better beer. This is a popular place with a good vibe. But I think if you are a micro brewery, you have to have more than one beer!

Two weeks of Spanish Cerveza may have clouded my tongue but upon my first sip then my second gulp I was convinced it was one of the best beers I had ever had. While that feeling of initial euphoria subsided the Inselhopf was excellent and had wonderful flavor and color for a pilsner. While it may not be the best beer I've ever had it was worth the trip to Freiburg. The food was decent, the service nice enough and the ambiance wonderful.

Favorite biergarten in the area. Crowded but pleasant outdoor seating that overlooks the busy pedestrian street. Love the brezel and appetizers here in the nighttime breeze. An always go-to to hang out with friends!

Fantastic beer and typical German simple foods. I'd be happy to come here any time. Of the Pils I have tried in Freiburg, I think their are 5 breweries this was my favorite.

Went here on a first date. Not a bad place to take a date or grab a wonderful Hefeweizen. Nice and clean lines throughout, lovely ambiance.

Good beer and an OK food. Friendly, English speaking staff.
