Cracker Barrel

Got our drinks and one of the glasses had tartar sauce on the bottom. Took 15 mins to swap it out. Second, my wife’s coke also had a lemon peel in it. Never seen that before, then was told it’s how she told the drinks apart and walked away. My fish had about half a serving of tartar sauce and about 8 fries. Also ordered loaded tots and was served regular tots. Needless to say we won’t be back.

My husband, my son, and myself visited Sunday April 10, 2022. We were told there was a 25 minute wait. I put our name on the wait list and we waited outside until we were called. We were seated within the 25 minutes they had told us. The waitress came by and took our orders fairly quickly (drink and food at the same time) and left our table. Things went downhill from there. After over 45 minutes, a different waitress brought out our food. Our orders were missing several items. We asked for the missing items, and eventually after multiple trips back and forth to the kitchen, got most of them. Our waitress walked by our table several times, but never stopped to check on us. Finally she came to bring us our ticket and discuss a tip. I told her that we needed something to drink, that we were choking on our food. She came back and refilled one cup out of three and walked away. My husband and son had to share a glass of tea for the remainder of their meals. She never came back. We had one napkin on our table and had to share it between the three of us. The eggs were extremely overcooked and dry. The country ham however, was under cooked. We were again asked for a tip when we went to check out. We understand that short staffing is an issue, and tried to be understanding. Cracker Barrel used to be one of our favorite after church places to eat. Hopefully things will be better soon. Not sure when we will be back.

Took my granddaughter out for her birthday, when I went to pay the bill I noticed they had charged her for a kid's dinner that she did not get, she had ordered two sides of bacon Mac and cheese. I told the girl at the check out the ticket was wrong she went to talk to our waitress who informed her the bill 2ad right it was for her drinks but the ticket clearly said kids dinner so I asked a drink is 4.98 she ask if I wanted to see the manager, Yes the manger came over made no eye contact with me and said it was bacon Mac and cheese I showed him where the kids dinner was ,he left the girl tried to take it off the bill but could not so she called him back ,so he took the meal and the two Mac and cheese off, I didn't see while I was there that he added her so called Free birthday desert back to my bill, so please check your ticket before and after you pay!

Had a great time for my dad's birthday on February 7th. They had awesome customer service in the store part, buy our waitress wasn't too attentive and we often ran out of drinks and such. It was a busy night though so we did give her some credit and a good tip. Overall, very positive experience- might come back next year.

I came in tonight after a long day of traveling. Was seated in a back table that still had dirty dishes on it. The hostess cleared and wiped it off with a napkin. It took 10 mins to get a waiter to take my order and then once my food arrived I had to ask for silverware, which took another 5 mins. Then I had to ask several times for a napkin. The service was so not what I expected. Plus, the food was not as good as I have had at other Cracker Barrel's.

This a very busy night, we had a 15 minute wait to be seated. Although our waitress was on top of it. They were definitely understaffed this night. It would have been helpful if the hostess and the busses fella would have helped run coffee and drinks for the staff. Our food was topnotch. The back of the house definitely had it going on as well!
