Very good Burgers and excellent fries with a nice interior. All in all a good place to eat a burger and drink a beer on the Hackesche Markt.

Food tasted bad. The spareribs were dry. The pulled chicken burger had a very strange taste to it. Waitress was nice though.

Friendly waiter, but took a while to take our order. One of the forks was dirty which the waiter promptly replaced when I showed it to him. Ordered ribs and a side of fries. Ribs came with "American Coleslaw." More like a bad imitation of Denny's coleslaw. The ribs...meh, not BBqed, more like reheated and generic sauce slopped on top. And the fries, well, meh again. Unless you're starving and nothing else is open, don't bother.

Perhaps the best bbq duck I've ever had. Service was good despite it being a bit busy. The bbq chicken was also good, the ribs were only ok. Coleslaw was not that great thouh, but the fried potatoe halves in rosemary were awesome.

Got served by the bald headed prick, who was the worst waiter / human being I've ever met. Bullied me into tipping, was rude, aggressive, impatient, and overall a real piece of you shit. If it was possible to rate lower than 1 star, trust I would. Never going back, and will make sure nobody I know ever steps foot in there again. Hate you, so much. Fire this man. He was rude to everyone. Nice food though.

I will make this simple for you...get the chicken. Do not get the burger. Just don't. It's the most generic burger ever. The chicken is beautiful and juicy! But the combo meal is a good deal!

Great food and beautiful place. I love the roasted duck. Full stock bar is a plus. Lovely attention to details and very convenient location. Food is tasty and satisfying! (Large portions/great value). Dont miss it if you are hungry around this area.

Had mixed grill with currywurst (+ fries) for dinner. Great portions and enough for 2. The currywurst and chicken were done well, whereas the ribs and duck was slightly tough. It came with 4 sauces, the curry mango one was awesome. The fries were served with mayo and ketchup. The wheat beer was alright as well. Enjoyed our meal a lot and pricing was really reasonable.

Have the ribs! That's all I can advise here. Simply scumptious! You will not leave with an empty stomach that's for sure

We were pleasantly surprised. My girlfriend and I shared the mixed grill with two sides for lunch. It was more than enough food. The ribs are tender as are the chicken and duck. All in all, a very good value for money lunch spot with a lovely outside ambiance.

I work near this new resturant and we wanted to give it a try. My co-workers and myself are always looking for something new. Highlights: - The atmosphere is really nice. The decor was really nicely executed with a rustic-country-french theme. - The rotisserie chicken was served well seasoned with a nice crispy skin. - You get to choose your choice of sauce which is served on the side for all your dipping pleasures. - Service was nice. - My co-worker reported that the bathrooms were very nice. - Chicken and sides were all served in seperate dishes. You can dish it out on your plate as you wish. This made it easy for my co-worker and myself to share our sides with one another. - Sides were also very flavorful. Lowlights/Improvements: - We asked them if there are going to expand upon their menu. A green salad as side, or a large salad with chicken or duck would be great for those of us lunching nearby. Due to the fact I am American, when I hear bbq, I think not only coleslaw (which they serve), but corn, mac & cheese, baked beans, cornbread, etc. Currently their sides are limitied to kraut salads (including cole slaw) and potates (fries and baked rosemary). The waitress said they are thinking about it, but just want to see how things go at first. The waitress was very nice and said although the decision does not lye with her, she will pass it along. - Lunch deal -The french fries were pretty salty, but some like em' well seasoned. Final Conclusion: Def. worth a try!

Poor service. Waiter forgot our order and came back 10 minutes after serving people who ordered after us to ask for it. -_- The hamburgers we got were cold and not really tasty. The main ingredient seemed to be ketchup, which there was way too much of.

Bad Chicken - No Water This is not a classic bbq place (only chicken, duck and pork ribs) allthough the interior looks like at a smoke house. After ordering 2 chickens, fries, two side salads, wine and beer the waitress refused to bring a glass of tap water (to go with the wine). We asked to talk to the manager, but no manager, just a no-water-policy, period. I understand that people cannot go to a restaurant and just get tap water. But after ordering half of the available menu items including drinks, it should be obvious that we don't want to save money by ordering tap water!!! The chicken was no good either. Tip: go to the next door restaurant called 1860 they have really good bbq chicken (and lots of other yummy food) and they will give you tap water.

My boyfriend and I did take the burgers and they were terrible. First of all the waiter forgot our orders, when everybody that had order after us had got their food he did notice us. When we got the burgers they were cold and did not taste good. It was too much ketchup and the bread was not toasted and crispy like it should be. It was definitely not worth the money.
