Excellent fresh ground espresso-based drinks, friendly service and the food was excellent. Simple but well prepared and presented. Scrambled and fried eggs were both done to perfection. Generally seems like they're trying for lighter fare, salads, sandwiches and omelettes - perfect for us for a lunch or snack, but don't expect a traditional heavy German plate of meat!
Only downsides: the sidewalk tables are a bit close to the busy street and they don't (as of time of writing) take credit cards (which was a pain as I was running low on cash).
We used the Yelp ad offer so got a discount - but even without, it would have been good value.

Wonderful little restaurant. I've been here on 2 occasions: once for a hearty, spontaneous breakfast with my man & another time for coffee & cake with my little one. The breakfast was awesome- very filling with fresh warm bread, butter, sundried tomatoes, olives, chorizo, cheese, fresh salads and eggs... Everything tasted fresh & the owner/waiter was very kind & friendly. The coffee here is also solid! As is the cider (yum!). The cakes also look great, but the one I chose during my second visit was "meh."
Anyway, the location is great for me & directly across from the Spree & Schloss Charlottenburg. Very nice on sunny days to sit outside, despite it being a bit loud on the street. Alternatively, inside is Fine for families- that one morning, a group of 5 strollers & moms in jogging clothes came in together for meals.
Anyway, I'm definitely returning in the future. Great addition to the Kiez. Desperately needed & much appreciated.
Very tasty place right near Schloss Charlottenburg. Fast service, good cake, and had a menu in both German and English. BTW, cash only, no cards.
Popped in here before exploring Charlottenburg Palace over the road. Just wanted a quick snack, ideally a sandwich. Had a lovely one here - salami with cheese. Good bread and very nicely made with a salad on the side. Ticked every box there. There was only one person serving though, and as good as the guy was there was still quite a wait for service. Either someone hadn't turned up, or the place operates too thin. But, main thing, the food was good.
Helmut the owner has got to be the friendliest and most welcoming cafe owner around! We went several times during our short 3 day stay. The coffee drinks are delicious, and the food was amazing. We had these little savory round pastries (forget the name) one with mushroom, the other with sweet potato, that were so incredibly tasty! We had to take our daughters back so they could try them! (They have meat fillings too.). Go try this beautiful quaint little cafe! You won't be disappointed!!
Very cosy Cafe. Friendly and helpful service. I redeemed my coupon and got free coffee :) I strongly recommend to relax there while visiting Charlottenburg Schloss.

Das Rührei mit Schinken war sehr gut, der Jägerteller ebenso. (Statt des gemischten Salates mit Balsamico bitte lieber ein paar Scheiben frische Gurke und Tomaten 👍🏻 zum Frühstück. 😉😉
Eure Brötchen waren der Hammer!! Heiß & knusprig & der Cappuccino ein Gedicht.

Immer nette Bedienung. Immer frischer, leckerer Kuchen. Gehe sehr gerne dort hin.
Der Mann hinterm Tresen ist außergewöhnlich freundlich und kundenorientiert , der Kaffee lecker und qualitativ sehr gut. Kuchen sahen super aus.
Ein Besuch lohnt sich...Kaffee Kuchen u.s.w.

Sehr schönes Cafè mit sehr leckerem Kuchen und gutem starken Cappuchino. Nicht ganz billig, aber bei der Qualität und der tollen Aussicht auf´s Schloss völlig ok. Draussen leider etwas laut wegen der stark befahrenen Straße,
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
