Schönes kleines Kaffee mit guten selbstgemachten Torten to go.

Sehr schick!

What we ate really was some of the best cake (Torte, Kuchen, Obstboden) that we have even had here in Germany. Wonderfully cute location, very friendly well dressed elderly Couple who serve every guest courteously. We will be going back regularly and I can full-heartedly recommend a Sunday visit.
Seating is very limited, we did not have to wait, but it would be worth it.

While traveling solo after a conference brought me to Berlin, I met up with Svenja - Yelp's community manager in Berlin - since we had connected a few weeks ago.
I found this place on Yelp, naturally... It is a really quaint place. I would describe it as an English tearoom (or it could be an classic German tearoom; I'm not too familiar with that kind!)
It's a bit tiny but the gentleman working at the cafe was very kind, spoke English and had an assortment of desserts and cakes that you wouldn't believe.
Free Wifi and a quiet atmosphere made this a fun place to chat and have a hot cappuccino on a cold, wintry day.

If my granny would have had a cosy little house, if she were collecting charming little old things, if she could make pastry, then visiting her would be so much the same as visiting this place. Unfortunetly my granny is not like this. Fortunately there is Cafe Kredenz. Old-fashioned in a charming and personal way, hosting everybody like a good friend and not like a customer, offering a choice of pastries among which it is almost incredible to decide this Cafe is just so very special.
Not only the atmosphere but also the cakes are impressive. None of them I tried was too sweet. Dacquoise Baiser cake is incredible! And the rest is so tasty that one just can't stop after one piece. Well, at least I couldn't
The egoistic part of me wants that this cafe stays an insider tip for a while, the better part wants to tell everyone!

Lovely lovely place!
The cafe is owned by an old couple, probably of Serbian origin. They are very attentive and friendly to their clients. The cafe has such an old-fashioned interior, vintage style. The cakes they serve are fantastic and pieces are quite large. Coffee tastes good.
It nice to come there in the afternoon and have a relaxed time of the day. One may also sit outside at the terrace and enjoy the view on street.
